My Top 10!

I just read a post from The Gypsy Mama about the 20 Chores She Would Rather Not Do.

This got me thinking about all of the things that I wish someone else would do for me... just the daily, normal things that catch up with you, that sometimes you just wish would just take care of themselves.  So, if anyone would like to volunteer to do any of the following for me, I am taking applications ;)

 1. Emptying the Cat's Litter Boxes (Can I teach Them to Go in the Toilet?!)
 2. Hanging Up Clothes Out of the Dryer
 3. Hand Washing Dishes (Why don't The Pots & Pans All Fit?)
 4. Cleaning the Shower Curtain Liner
 5. Changing the Sheets (Maybe it Wouldn't be So Hard if Miley Didn't Enjoy "Helping"?)
 6. Taking Nail Polish Off, but I also hate looking at Chipped Polish
 7. Washing the Wooden Floors, on Hands and Knees
 8. Matching Together Socks, and Putting them Away
 9. Taking to Garbage Cans to the Street
10. Sorting Through the Mail, Mainly the Junk Mail

What are some things that you could do without having to do?!

YouData.com

Looking for a quick, easy way to make some extra money?  Check out YouData. It is not a huge money maker, but the pennies add up with time, and it is always nice to see a few extra cents get added into the budget, for something that you normally do on a daily basis...look at ads and watch commercials! Here is a copy of my referral email if you would like to join under my account (which I would be grateful for), or you can always visit the site on your own to sign up! I found something that I think you will like. The company's name is YouData ( youdata.com ). They are trying to convince consumers like us that we should be the ones controlling our own data and selling our own attention, not third parties like broadcasters, newspapers, and spammers. By creating a MeFile at YouData.com, I now control what ads I see and when I see them. Best part - I am selling my attention directly to interested advertisers, for real money. That's right, I get paid fo...

A Week of Golf

In 2017 my team was tasked with exciting job of catering to the LPGA Marathon Classic for their week long golf tournament here in town.  We had less then 4 months to prepare, and we had never done anything on such a large scale before.  It was both exhilarating and terrifying, especially for an Enneagram 6 like me.  We are loyal and committed, but our biggest needs are security, and we fear not having the support and guidance needed.  What a way to walk into a task like this.   I was suddenly tasked with finding organizations to fill close to 200 shifts for concession stands, as well as around 75 employees to help me make this event a reality.  It took a lot of time, planning, questions, stress, and a roller coaster of emotions, but we did it!  It was amazing the feeling that you have after you accomplish something like that. Since then we have continued to receive this job each July, and each year has gotten a little easier.  We have ha...

Weekly Menu Plan

This week has already been changed around again and again from my husband being in town, to leaving, to coming home early, to leaving again, so the menu plan has been changing, but that is the great thing about having food in the pantry & freezer! Since I didn't get around to making "Cheese" Soup last week, I made it last night.  While it was an interesting batch of ingredients, it turned out to be quite delicious!  I will post my version of the recipe tomorrow! This week we plan to eat at work everyday for lunch, or to finish up leftovers from the fridge, so even less menu planning! For dinners I am making the following: Taco Salads "Cheese" Soup Loaded Nachos Steamed Vegetables and Crescent Rolls (My husband can live on vegetables alone!) This month is busy at work, and I am having company this weekend, and traveling next weekend so I won't be doing any freezer cooking for a little while, but I am hoping to do a few large freezer cooking s...
