Giving Thanks, Day 13

Today I am thankful for trade shows and all of the fun stuff that vendors hand out to everyone for free!

We had a trade show today for 55 companies in the area.  It was amazing all of the things that were handed out; movie passes, note pads, pens, hand sanitizer, etc.  The things that you can always use, but usually don't want to pay for.

My favorite is always note pads.  I love all the different shapes and sizes, and it helps to give me the motivation to start new lists and gives me the goal to work all the way through the stack of paper, before getting bored or moving on to a new idea or set of projects.

What kinds of things do you like to get for free?!

  3. I wish I was kidding, but I LOVE note pads and note cards... An addiction to something insignificant. What can I say?

June Goals

After a peaceful weekend off of work (my last one for a couple of months) I woke up today with a renewed outlook on my life, again.  I was able to take the weekend to relax and focus on finding out where I want to put some energy into and where I need to pay less attention to. We only get one today.  We can spend it any way we want.  We can dwell on the past, plan for the future, or spend it in the moment.  I have my moments when each are important to me, but for now I have decided that I want to focus on the day at hand.  I need to take any time that I have to do something that I want to accomplish.  It may be large or small, but in the end I just need to get up and go!  I have been reading some new books lately and I have been learning a lot about myself in the process.  Things I have been scared of, vacations I want to take, habits I want to teach myself, as well the importance of being unique.   This month I have decided that I need t...

YouData.com

Looking for a quick, easy way to make some extra money?  Check out YouData. It is not a huge money maker, but the pennies add up with time, and it is always nice to see a few extra cents get added into the budget, for something that you normally do on a daily basis...look at ads and watch commercials! Here is a copy of my referral email if you would like to join under my account (which I would be grateful for), or you can always visit the site on your own to sign up! I found something that I think you will like. The company's name is YouData ( youdata.com ). They are trying to convince consumers like us that we should be the ones controlling our own data and selling our own attention, not third parties like broadcasters, newspapers, and spammers. By creating a MeFile at YouData.com, I now control what ads I see and when I see them. Best part - I am selling my attention directly to interested advertisers, for real money. That's right, I get paid fo...
